and Mumbai. “The Indian market will value
reservoir type of projects due to peaking
shortage,” said Tantra Narayan Thakur, chairman
and managing director of PTC India ltd, in
his presentation on “Electricity trade between
India and Bhutan ? A success story”. Mr
Thakur said that hydropower has become a
priority sector and that Bhutan can help
in meeting the power shortage in India.
