インドネシアのジョコ大統領は，昨日の演説で，カリマンタン，特にカヤン川（Kayan River）の開発に言及し，首都移転と共にカリマンタン北部の工業団地開発に，カヤン川の水力を期待していると強調した，カヤン川の開発，５地点１０００万ＫＷについて，本欄でも４月に３回議論をしている，

ジョコ大統領は焦っている，大統領選も考えて，首都移転を２０２４年内に終了したい，そのためにはカヤン川の電力が必要，中国企業が開発を一手に主導してきたが，中国の動きが遅い，経済が退潮している中国に２兆円事業の余力はあるか，住民問題もあり苦闘，住友商事の名前も挙がっている，
