Subansari (Lower) Project
The Subansiri Lower Dam, officially named Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project (SLHEP), is an under construction gravity dam on the Subansiri River in North Eastern India. It is located 2.3 km (1.4 mi) upstream of Subansiri River on Arunachal Pradesh. Described as a run-of-the-river project by NHPC Limited, the Project is expected to supply 2,000 MW of power when completed.[2] The project has experienced several problems during construction to include landslides, re-design and opposition. It was expected to be complete in 2018. It is notable that, if completed as planned, it will be the largest hydroelectric project in India.[3][4]
As of early 2019, work was not progressing on either of the two major dam projects in the Assam region, the Dibang and the Lower Subansiri.[5]
After clearance of ‘Subansiri Lower Project’ by Hon’ble NGT vide its Order dated: 31.07.2019, Main works of the Dam has been resumed on 15.10.2019.

アルナーチャル・プラデーシュ州とアッサム州で建設中の2000MWスバンシリ下水力発電プロジェクトの一部が地滑りにより損傷し、下流のスバンシリ川の流れに影響を与えた。事業開始は2024年3月の予定。
NHPC（旧国立水力発電公社）の高官は、「金曜日午前11時30分頃、5つの分水トンネルのうち、使用中の分水トンネル1番のみが地滑りのため通行止めとなった」と述べた。

「他の 4 つの分水トンネルは、建設工事が完了した後、すでに封鎖されていました。その結果、下流への河川流量が大幅に減少します。ダム放水路湾の高さは平均海抜 145 メートルです。現在997cum/secの河川流量が貯水池に貯められており、貯水池の水位は上昇している。午後１時には水位は１３９メートルに達した。夕方までに水位は145メートルに達すると予想されており、川は再び放水路を通って通常通り下流に流れるだろう」と付け加えた。
興味深いことに、これは同じ場所での2回目の地滑りです。3月にも同様の地滑りがプロジェクトに影響を与えた。
「私たちは丘陵地帯で働いており、建設活動がそのような状況を引き起こす可能性があります。また、数年間、工事中に分水トンネルを使用してきました。3月には予定通り営業を開始できると考えております。この土砂崩れによって遅延が生じることはない」と付け加えた。
アルナーチャル プラデーシュ州の水力発電プロジェクトに対して、環境保護団体による激しい抵抗がある。HTは昨年12月、ディバン多目的プロジェクトとアルナーチャル・プラデーシュ州で提案されているエタリン水力発電プロジェクトの下流に住む先住民コミュニティが、ブラマプトラ渓谷のディバン流域に関する2016年の調査に懸念を表明し、地域への影響の評価が省略されていると報告した。これらのプロジェクトのすぐ下流にあります。
2016 年 7 月に発表され、連邦環境省に受理された「累積影響および収容力に関する調査」は、同センターが 3,097 MW エタリン水力発電プロジェクトと、この地域で計画されている 16 の小規模水力発電プロジェクトに関する調査を行うよう導いている。
