ネパールは2008年以降、何年にもわたって長時間の停電に直面していた。専門家らは、ネパールで数年間にわたる負荷削減が続いた主な理由として、同銀行が1995年8月にアルンIIIプロジェクトから撤退したことを挙げている。この機能停止は10 年後の 2018 年 5 月に正式に終了しました。
インドの国営企業である SJVN Limited は現在、Arun III プロジェクトを開発しています。
