ブータンのジョモリ水力（Jomori hydropower project），詳細はまだ不明だが，既に準備工事にあたるアクセス道路など，建設工事は始まった模様である，今朝の時点で未だ詳細な位置や規模など抑えていないが，設備出力は９万ＫＷ，インドと関係なく，周辺地域の電力供給を担う模様である，

ブータンについては本欄でも１０月１７日に，１００万ＫＷクラスのプナチャンチュウ川の開発を扱ったばかりだが，インドからの技術的な脱却を図りたいとの思いから，日本に頼ったが，結局，日本政府の受け入れるところとはならなかった，既にインドが入って工事も最盛期を迎え，完成も近い，

今日の国内紙クエンセルによると，初めてブータン独自で開発する初めての大型プロジェクトとして，大いに国内で盛り上がっているようだ，具体的なことは分からないが，プロジェクトの推進にはＪＩＣＡが関わっているようで，資金も日本から出ているやに読み取れる（https://onl.sc/QanxDEp）

ブータンも随分変わっただろう，３０年ぐらい前に我々世代が調査に入ったプナチャンチュウ川（Punatsangchhu）も，インドの支援で工事酣と聞く，当時のブータン政府はインド依存を少しでも減らすため，日本による水力開発を希望していたが日本政府の合意に至らなかった

プナチャンチュウ川（別名Sankosh River）は，流域面積が約１万平方キロで，ブータン最大の河川，しかも国の中央を南北に流れ下る急流で，水力開発が計画され，第一の約１００万ＫＷ，第二の１２０万ＫＷが，インドの支援で現在工事中であるとの報道だ，

今日記事となっている問題は，先日起きたインドのシッキム（ブータンの直ぐ西に隣接）の洪水によるティースタ水力などの被害で，最大の懸念は氷河湖の決壊にある，現在工事中のプナチャンチュウの水力の設計変更が議論されている，（https://onl.la/wb3aeQz）
