トランプ大統領が，パリ協定離脱の正式手続きに入った，大統領にしてみれば選挙戦以来の公約を果たしたと言うことだろうが，そのタイミングをうまく使ったかどうか，地球温暖化そのものは，恐らく人類の手では解決に限界があると私も思うが，環境外交の主導権を中国に渡すことになる，

東アジアサミットに米国が閣僚級を送れなかった，ＡＳＥＡＮ諸国はがっくりしているだろう，特に南シナ海問題も，中国批判のトーンは大幅に低くなった，米国に於けるアジアのプレゼンスは減っただろう，これが米国の国内政治のせいなのか，実際米国はアジアに関心を失っていくのか，

タイへ日本は安倍首相を送って中国の李克強首相との協調関係を演出した，しかし，ＲＣＥＰからインドが離脱する場面を，安倍さんは防ぐことが出来なかった，米国首脳が不在の中にあって，日本の存在感を際立たせることが出来なかった，日本が国際社会の中で沈没することは避けたい，
