新型コロナ問題を通じて驚かされたのは，米国をはじめとする西欧の強国が，殆どすべて防疫に失敗し，何万の死者を出しながら，打つ手を失っている現状である，日本がクルーズ船で大童の時，日本も米国のような強力なＣＤＣの組織を持つべきだった，と言っていたが，そのＣＤＣは脆くも崩れた

日本が親しく尊敬してきた米国や英国は，まさに危機的状況で先が見えていない，完璧の医療体制を誇ったドイツもその例外ではなかった，それに対して，中国はさることながら，シンガポール，台湾，香港，韓国などの処理が目立つ，「西洋は終わった，東洋の時代が始まる」と韓国論壇は賑やかだ
